AB Swim & Dive Battles Hard Against Tough Division Rival L'Anse Creuse North

Anchor Bay loses tough meet to division rival LCN with a final score of:

LCN- 107
Anchor Bay- 79

Anchor Bay's record is now 4-3 overall and 3-1 in the MAC Blue Division.

The loss does take us out of the running for the Dual Meet Championship as LCN will have a perfect 5-0 record. So, with about one month to prepare, our eyes set to the bigger prize of a Division Championship which will definitely be contested.

I couldn't be more proud for the girls as they gave it there best effort compiling 47 season best swims and qualifying in 4 more events for the County Meet. This brings our total to 25 athletes eligible to compete in the county meet in 68 total events.

Here is the Anchor Bay 2017 County Team that will be competing this weekend on October 5th (diving only) and October 7th (swim/dive) at LCN:

Again, this is our largest group heading to the County Meet ever with 14 underclassmen (freshmen/sophomores) representing the majority of the team. Our team is young but motivated and I believe the girls are just starting to see their potential and have been inspired by the work ethic and motivation of the upperclassmen (juniors/seniors). Go TARS!!! - Head Coach Kevin Ott
